How we handle your application

Version privacy-v1 · August 31, 2026. When you submit an application, the version you agreed to is recorded with it.

The plain-language version

  • Who sees it: your application, your files, and your sample links are visible only to the Baltimore Sound Entertainment hiring team. We never post, share, sell, or trade them.
  • What we collect: only what the application asks for — your name, contact details, general location, experience answers, sample links, and an optional resume. We do not ask for your street address, date of birth, Social Security number, or any banking information to apply.
  • Where it lives: in private, access-controlled storage we operate. There are no public links to anything you send us.
  • Your private link: we email you a private link to check status or update your application. It expires after 30 days (we can always send a fresh one), and it stops working immediately if you withdraw.
  • How long we keep it: if you're hired, we will explain any onboarding records separately; this application does not create an employee account. If not — including if you withdraw — we delete your application and files within 12 months of the decision. The deletion is automatic, not a promise.
  • Withdrawing: you can withdraw from your status page at any time. Withdrawing deletes your uploaded files right away and puts the rest of your application on the same 12-month deletion clock.
  • What we keep after deletion: a minimal record that an application existed and was deleted (a reference number and dates — no answers, no files, no contact details).
  • Questions or requests: email sales@baltimoresound.net and we'll take care of it, including deletion requests ahead of the schedule above.

A note on honesty

Applying never signs you up for marketing, never creates an account anywhere else, and never gives anyone access to anything of yours — the only thing we can see is what you chose to send us.
